Hey, my name is Lori Carpenter

I was born and raised in beautiful North Idaho, where my love for nature runs deep. I’m a sporty, adventurous soul who thrives on the outdoors, although a recent back surgery has slowed me down a bit. I’ve been happily married to my best friend for 24 years, and together we have three amazing boys and two wonderful daughters-in-law who make our weekends spent together special. I’m a mix of both an introvert and extrovert, depending on the setting, but I’ll always choose a quiet night at home with my family over a night out. Life’s simple pleasures are what bring me joy—whether it’s spending time with my chickens and ducks, growing flowers, listening to music, or baking treats for my loved ones. One of my goals this year is to learn how to bake sourdough bread—yes, I’m a little late to the game, but I can’t wait to dive into the recipes and enjoy this new adventure! When I’m not spending time with my family, you’ll find me creating sessions for my amazing clients, capturing their special moments and telling their unique stories through my lens.
